Balmain Dog Walkers are a local Husband, Wife and fur child team (Peter, Justine and Milou the Bichon Frise), who provide dog walking and pet minding services to Balmain, Rozelle, Birchgrove, Balmain East and surrounding suburbs.
Balmain Dog Walker services offered include:
- Dog Walking/ play groups (up to 4 compatible dogs per walker)
- Cat and Dog Sitting/ Feeding (in your home)
- In home boarding for small to medium sized dogs (in our home).

Balmain Dog Walkers has been helping dozens of local households since 2011, and are a fully registered and insured business.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional, personal service and experiences to our canine, feline and human clients alike.
In our spare time, Balmain Dog Walkers volunteer our time to support, connect with and give back to our local dog community in a number of ways;
- Founding and administering a community Facebook group called ‘Balmain Dog Lovers’. Established for over 2 years with over 90 members and counting. Through this group dog lovers are able to share and learn news and information about local dogs, parks, events, dog/ pet friendly properties to or for let, dog/ pet humour etc. To join, search on Facebook ‘groups’ for ‘Balmain Dog Lovers’ and request to join. http://www.facebook.com/groups/balmaindoglovers
- Co-ordinating and participating in Clean Up Australia Day for the last 5 years, to help make our local dog parks safer and cleaner for all to enjoy. To register for 2014: http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/Mort+Bay+Park+Clean+Up
- Supporting the inaugural ‘Good Dog Easter Parade’ in 2013 as a Major Sponsor, and with bringing onboard other local business and pet industry prize sponsors. Keep up with this fun event for 2014: https://www.facebook.com/TheGoodDogEasterDogParade
- Heavily involved with Council and SHFA lobbying to help maintain and increase off leash exercise areas for dogs within local parks.
Balmain Dog Walkers are also proud Ambassadors of PetO (Australia’s Largest Dog and Cat Store - http://www.peto.com.au), assisting with promotional and events activities within the dog community. PetO is an Australian, family run independant pet supplies retailer. PetO support many local animal charities and believe in “think adoption first”, therefore not selling live animals.
